An award-winning writer, Jasmine has written and co-written plays and scripts for SAWITRI Theatre Group and other arts organizations. Jasmine is equally committed to community-engaged arts projects, addressing themes of food scarcity, skills acquisition for marginalized groups and domestic violence. Jasmine is also the Executive Director of Sampradaya Dance Creations. Jasmine volunteers her time serving on the boards of various organizations. She is currently on the board of Sur Sungum Foundation and the Meadowvale Theatre Community Panel.
